Have I mentioned yet that Gordon’s favorite food is chicken cordon bleu? Spending time in the mountains means finding creative, non-oven ways to make this favorite dish. This breaded grilled chicken covered in melted Swiss and sliced ham made for an awesome dinner in the middle of nowhere.
- Chicken breasts, cut to desired sandwich size
- Panko or oven fry
- Sliced Swiss cheese
- Sliced deli ham
Grill the chicken breasts over medium heat until almost cooked through.
Put a slice of cheese and a slice of ham on top of each chicken breast and allow the cheese to melt as the chicken cooks through.
Serve on the bun of your choice with mustard.
So easy, but so good.
